Herons of Florida

Florida is home to eleven species of herons and egrets — birds that share the same ancient family but each occupy their own corner of the wetlands. This project is a slow, deliberate effort to photograph every one of them in the wild and create a detailed infographic for each species: range, behavior, field marks, and the story behind the encounter.
